About Me

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’re trying to conceive or preparing for pregnancy you’re in the right place.

I’m Louise, a former chef turned fertility nutritionist. I help women 30+ prepare their bodies for pregnancy with a food first approach, realistic meal prep, and evidence-based nutrition guidance that fits into real life.

Whether you’ve been trying to conceive for a while, preparing for IVF, recovering after loss, or thinking ahead before starting a family, my work is here to help you feel more supported, informed, and confident in what you’re doing next. Fertility nutrition should feel personal.

I look at the foundations your body needs during preconception: nutrient intake, digestion, blood sugar balance, inflammation, hormone support, and practical food habits you can maintain.

My philosophy is simple:

Food should feel supportive, not restrictive.

Nutrition changes should feel realistic and sustainable.

And because I spent 15 years as a professional chef, they should taste good too.

How I got here

My path into fertility nutrition started after I had my son.

Before becoming a nutritionist, I worked as a chef, including as a Sous Chef aboard the luxury Canadian train, the Rocky Mountaineer.

I loved the creativity, the pace, the skill, and the way a good meal can bring people together.

But after having my son, travelling for work no longer fit my life.

Nutrition had always been a passion of mine, so over the next three years, I became qualified as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and continued my education in perinatal nutrition.

Why food-first fertility support matters

A lot of women come to me already doing their best.

They’re taking a prenatal but are confused about what they should be (or not be eating)

This is where I come in with a personalized approach:

For some people, that means supporting digestion and nutrient absorption.

For others, it means building nutrient stores before pregnancy.

For others, it means creating more balanced meals so blood sugar, energy, and hormones are better supported.

And for couples preparing for IVF, it means using nutrition to support egg and sperm health alongside medical care.

What I bring to this work

As a Red Seal Chef, I understand food beyond a list of ingredients.

I know how to build flavour, simplify prep, and make meals feel satisfying instead of clinical.

As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Perinatal Nutrition Expert, I bring evidence-based knowledge about what your body needs during preconception, pregnancy preparation, and postpartum recovery.

Together, that means my work sits at the intersection of fertility science and real food.

Practical, supportive fertility nutrition designed to help you prepare your body with more clarity and confidence.

If you’re ready to support your fertility through food in a way that feels realistic, I’d love to help you take the next step.
